About the restaurant
Our third restaurant is located in the atmospheric alleys of Shepherd Market built on the site of the late 1600s' original May Fair which became notorious as Central London's rackety red-light district. Hidden away from Mayfair's more plutocrat-infested byways, it's still something of a London secret – and the perfect home for the Rotters' new den.
Noble Rot Mayfair's menu has been devised by Head Chef Adam Wood (ex-Perilla and The Square) and executive chef Stephen Harris of The Sportsman. Each Noble Rot has its distinct culinary personality and menu: here the focus is on indulgence, future classics such as warm smoked eel, baked potato and Avruga caviar; sea bream and oyster tartare; and a whole roast duck with Chambertin sauce and potato and cep gratin to share for two.
These and many other dishes on a regularly changing carte – as well as our famous value set lunch – will be the perfect foil to our most ambitious wine list yet. Aiming to surpass our existing Noble Rot achievements – winning 'Wine List of the Year' at the National Restaurant Awards an unprecedented four times – it'll range from our much-loved 'house' Vinho Verde 'Chin Chin' through outrageously delicious sub-£40 finds, to rare vintages of Château Latour and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Whether a casual drinker or an obsessive oenophile, Noble Rot Mayfair promises the stuff of any wine lover's dreams.
Private dining room
Noble Rot Mayfair's private dining room is in the cellar of our historic Shepherd Market building. The twelve-person capacity room, with special interconnected vaults full of venerable bottles, offers a la carte options alongside a feasting dish of Whole Roast Suckling Pig served with Champagne Choucroute.
There are two sittings per day: lunch from 12pm until 5pm, and dinner from 6pm until 11pm. A reduced a la carte menu is available, with the option to pre order the Whole Roast Suckling Pig served with Champagne Choucroute for £480, feeding 10 - 12 people, requiring 1 week's notice.
Noble Rot have teamed up with The Wine Society to present ‘The Wine Society Reserve’, a collection of rare, mature bottles from the depths of their cellars to be offered exclusively at Noble Rot Mayfair for a limited period.
Reservations for both lunch and dinner have a minimum spend of £1200, excluding discretionary service charge. Prepayment of the minimum spend is required to make a private dining room reservation. We kindly ask that any cancellation to your reservation in the Private Dining Room be made no less than 4 weeks prior. After this time, the minimum spend paid to confirm the reservation will be non-refundable.
Please note that we take all bookings through the link above. Availability of the room is subject to change. Upon booking, one of our team will be available to confirm the receipt of your reservation and discuss any personal requests. Should you have any other queries please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
